This Privacy Policy describes how Whisker Wilds, operated by VELMORO LLC, a Montana limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from whiskerwilds.com (the "Site").

Information we collect

Device information: when you visit the Site we automatically collect information about your device, including browser, IP address, time zone and some cookies, and information about the pages you view and how you interact with the Site. We collect this using cookies, log files, web beacons and similar technologies.

Order information: when you make a purchase we collect your name, billing and shipping address, payment details (processed by Shopify Payments or PayPal; we do not store full card numbers), email address and phone number.

Marketing information: if you sign up for emails we store your email address and the date of consent. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any email.

Support and chat messages: when you email us or use the chat on the Site, we receive what you send us, as described below.

Chat messages

The chat on the Site is provided by Shopify Inbox. When you use it, we receive your messages, any name, email address or order number you share, and the page you were viewing. Some answers are generated automatically by Shopify's assistant from our product pages and store policies; a member of our team may read the conversation and reply. We use chat messages to answer your questions and support your orders, and keep them with our customer service records. Please do not share card numbers or passwords in the chat.

How we use your information

To fulfill orders (processing payment, arranging shipping, sending confirmations and tracking), to answer your questions, to screen orders for fraud, and, when you have opted in, to send information about products and restocks. We use device information to improve the Site and to measure the results of our advertising.

Sharing

We share personal information with service providers who help us run the Site and fulfill orders: Shopify (store platform, Shopify Payments and Shopify Inbox chat), PayPal (payments, when you choose it), our partner fulfillment centers and carriers such as USPS, UPS and FedEx (name, address and phone for delivery), email service providers, and analytics and advertising services such as Google Analytics and Google Ads. We may also share information to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights.

Behavioral advertising

We use your information to show advertisements that may be of interest to you. You can opt out of Google's use of cookies at https://www.google.com/settings/ads/anonymous and of some services through the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out portal at https://optout.aboutads.info/.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not alter the Site's data collection when we see a Do Not Track signal. Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@whiskerwilds.com. We keep order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, subject to legal and tax retention requirements.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion; to correct inaccurate information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as name, email and address), commercial information (orders), internet activity (device and browsing information) and the content of messages you send us, for the purposes described above. We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing with advertising partners for targeted advertising may be considered "sharing" under California law; you can opt out by emailing support@whiskerwilds.com with the subject "California opt out", by using the cookie settings on the Site, or by enabling Global Privacy Control. To exercise any right, email support@whiskerwilds.com. We respond within 45 days and may ask you to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. The date at the top shows the latest version.
